HR Administrator

HR Administrator (temp to hire)

A. General Description / Primary Purpose

Provide administrative support to HR staff. Serve as focal point for various HR programs and benefits supporting customer base within ONE Media Communications.

B. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION
Perform day to day administrative duties and support for the Human Resources department
Serve as an initial entry point for general employee questions and requests.
Create files and maintain filing system for personnel and recruiting files. Manage files according to record retention program
Monitor and respond to emails in HR Mailbox
Service awards, discount programs
Book travel
Maintain current staffing agreements
Maintain supply of forms and HR materials; prepare new hire orientation materials, and recruiting packets.
Includes handling job inquiry calls, walk-in candidates and unsolicited resumes.
Retrieve offsite records as needed and provide secondary backup for database maintenance.
Compile HR metrics and develop quarterly reporting documents.
Serve as backup administrative support for and prepare check requests and expense reports, coordinate meetings, make travel arrangements, screen phone calls, and order supplies
Handle EDD correspondence (forward unemployment claims to the appropriate offices and/or third party administrator)
Update and maintain HR files on intranet (Sharepoint)
Pay invoices
Assist with
OSHA reporting
EEO-1, Vets-100 , and AAP reporting
Quarterly service award reporting
Preventing Harassment training
Labor law posters in remote offices
Closing out jobs in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and run reports on an as needed basis
Internal I-9 audit
WC Claim Reporting
Performance Development Program
Training (Preventing Harassment)
Other projects & duties as assigned.
C. Job Specific Requirements (knowledge, Skills, Ability, Experience)
Strong administrative and communication skills
3-5 years general administrative experience
Customer-service oriented or HR experience preferred
D. ROLE COMPETENCIES

Ability to perform a range of day to day administrative duties and support. Knowledge of HR processes and functions. Ability to develop and execute work plans, work well under pressure and deadlines and prioritize to optimize efficiency.

Internal associates, including senior management, across all domestic and international divisions
F. EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Formal training in HR/benefits subjects a plus, BS/BA preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications & various database s including Word, Excel, and Access.

H. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift (including overhead) and/or up to 25 lbs.

Web Developer

ONE Media Communications seeks a full-time Web Developer and Version Control Analyst to improve and expand functionality of ONEMediaCommunications.com, related microsites and clients. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in these areas:

• Expert-level HTML/CSS, PHP, Java, JavaScript, JQuery coding

• Multi-browser, cross-platform testing, including mobile

• Database structure and integration (MySQL)

• UX/UI analysis and testing on custom e-commerce platform

• Version control in a multi-programmer environment (Git, GitHub)

• Red Hat/Linux server configuration a plus!

A four-year degree with appropriate emphases on Internet programing coursework is required. Successful candidates will demonstrate outstanding communication and team-building skills.

Account Manager

    • You’re a proactive self-starter who isn’t afraid to try new things and never gives up but always saves face, maintaining a graceful attitude in tough times
    • You’re a strong communicator, comfortable on the phone, over voicemail, and via email
    • Bonus points for experience with RJMetrics, Mixpanel, some CRM we use Salesforce
